Claudio Cavalieri nasce a Trento nel 1950; consegue la Maturità artistica in Arte Applicata presso l’Istituto d’Arte Alessandro Vittoria nel 1972, iniziando a esporre le sue opere e dal 1977 insegna Educazione Artistica.
